I've dabbled in meditation on my own before but could never get into it. I tried a class last night with Lisa. I felt relaxed, invigorated and calm at the same time. I'm the kind of person that wants to be able to do things on my own, but having her guidance allowed me to experience a much deeper and more fulfilling meditation than doing it on my own. Also, normally in the mornings I wake up with chronic pain at about a 9 out of 10. To help you understand, it feels like someone is sawing through my bones with a rusty carving knife. What I'm really stoked about is today I woke up with my chronic pain about a 3 out of 10. Unfortunatley I live overseas, but if I was staying in the area longer I would 100% become a regular!!! Like so many people, before coming to Lisa, I was a real stress puppy. I have had a lot to deal with over the past years with changing life circumstances, hugely emotional situations. I wasn't coping, there was so much responsibility, and was lost in all of it. I begged the universe for an answer, for help. I saw the poster for your classes and was drawn to it. I took the details, and 'sat' on them, until I was brave enough to act. I had lost a bit of confidence over the years. I can honestly say, the best thing I have done, was stepping through your very welcoming door. The "ahh-ha!" moment in meditation, was learning that I can't always control what is going to happen....but I can control how I react to it!
