ABOUT LISA Lisa has been a teacher of movement, reframing mindsets in many varying capacities and empowering students of all ages as a positive influence for over 30 years. Becoming a gymnastics coach in her teens, and going on to teach gymnastics full time after leaving school, Lisa then went on to study Sport Science at NSW Uni in 1989. Completing her Bachelor Degree in 1991 Lisa moved her attention to the Fitness Industry and began working as a personal trainer in Bondi, Sydney. When Lisa became a mother she moved to the Queensland and eventually opened a gymnastics club in 1999. Here she taught many Redlands children how to move well, have fun and feel good about themselves for over 10 years. Always a positive influence to all she taught, as time went on, Lisa recognised the need to turn her attention to adults once again, but this time with the desire to not only teach mindful, meaningful movement, but to also incorporate her vast experience of meditation - which she has practiced extensively through her life - to bring a peaceful and positive dynamic to the lives of others. In 2011 Lisa opened the Yoga and Meditation Lounge and has taught many students over the years in group classes, workshops, retreats, one-on-one yoga & meditation sessions, as well as operating an anxiety clinic to assist students on a path to contentment. A Sport Scientist, Yoga and Meditation Teacher, Psychosomatic Therapist, qualified Emotional Anatomy practitioner and Emotional Release Body Worker, a natural teacher and constant student, Lisa brings her life experience to meet you exactly where you are.
