"WHO AM I ?" The single, most important question you can ask in life.
When you were born, you weren't just born into your body. You were born into a people, into a society. And you were born into your people's baggage. You were born into a society of expectation, judgement, criticism, blame, shame, and all of the other contorted states of your people’s culture. This is a fact, and the truth for us all. Show me one person who wasn't born into any judgement, any expectation. That person doesn't exist. The vessel of clarity of which you entered the world has been progressively pulled and contorted - carved by society’s judgements, shoulds and shouldn'ts, and expectations that have shaped you into who you are today. You have learned to live in the clouded world of your people and their baggage - learned the moves, the language, and all of the rules of engagement pf your birth ground. You've adopted the nature of your people, and like everyone around you, you've forgotten your own. You've forgotten the clarity of your original birthed self. Life has bred it out of you.
You just have to look around you to see the effects that this unnourishing birth ground has on its people. Society continues to suffer the painful effects of its own baggage. Addictions take the place of true pleasure. Disassociation replaces connection. Distraction is the substitute for contentment. Doctors, therapists, councilors and the like try to provide work-arounds, but the truth is, they too were born into the same birth ground, and are of the same identity - of the same misshapen people. You can't heal in the environment that made you sick. This is why nothing has helped you in the past, and despite all of the abundant well-being programs and support structures in place today, the baggage continues to blindly breed more of the same, and people are suffering depression, anxiety, trauma, panic, drama, sadness...
Blindly, acceptingly, everyone calls this 'life'.
Why are you in the shape you are in? Because you weren't born into a people of clarity - of clear body, of clear mind and clear living - a people who meet challenges in positive ways without projecting on others or exacerbating their own pain, a people of unhindered, unconditional joy. If you were, your life would look much different today.
Your people have forgotten who they are. You have forgotten who you are.
You have forgotten your original self.
THE ORIGINAL SELF Your peoples forgotten identity
Through no fault of you own, your original nature is so unknown. Foreign. What is the nature of your clear, original self? How does the original self move, think, speak, act, respond, breathe, FEEL? How do you support the development of your original clear self? How do you deconstruct the mis-directed form of yourself that you've developed as a result of your birth passage? Can you embody clarity?
Impossible to heal in the environment that made you sick, how do you make your way back, and return to the clear nature of your original self? How do you return to your original form? Nothing outside of you points you there. Your environment is what has created who you are now!
Unless people take responsibility for rectifying their misshapen form, the clouded culture of your people will snow-ball as more and more are born into this unnourishing playground.
Are you ready to stand at the forefront of change for your people? It starts with you.
As cliché as it sounds, 'the answer lies within'.

So where do you think you start looking for the mystery of your original self? Outside of you? Clearly that hasn't been the case. Nowhere in your external world have you been pointed back to the clarity of your original self. When everything outside of you has shaped you into who and what you are, it's time to dive into everything within you and discover the mystery that resides there.
How do you dive into who you truly are, beyond the mind, beyond the false self, and beyond your suffering? One way is meditation - using a sequence that, with intention, specifically guides you there.
And then what? Is meditation alone enough?
SELF REGULATION
Meditation alone is not enough.
You'veve spent your life creating the habit and refining the skills for a life aligned to your people, its culture, and your world. Every single one of your interactions in life reflect your identitification with a constructed (or false) self, directed from birth by all that is external to you. If you truly want to experience meaningful life change, you need to discover how it FEELS to be identified with your original nature, and learn how to engage in life in a way that supports the development of your original nature. You'll need to learn new skills and create new habits. This is the process of Self-Regulation (regulating oneself in life without intervention from external bodies). It will feel foreign at first - but something about it will also feel inherently 'right'.
Discover your original self.
Recognise the nature of your original self.
Align your life to the nature of your original self.
Create new life skills and habits that support growth of your original self.
IT ALL COMES BACK TO YOU
You are the common denominator in your life.
Breathing dysfunction, physical tension, embodied stress, emotional pain, anxiety, trauma states, drama, shyness, panic, aggression, reactivity, addiction, to name a few, are all states of mis-identification. Feeling states of sadness, guilt, grief, shame, resentment, anger, as valid as they are, are all experiences associated with a world mis-identified. Lost.
Who experiences these states? You do. (As a misguided people, everyone does!). In all of your life experiences, there is one common denominator. You! It's time to take responsibility for your own experiences, and look at how you do you.
