LEARN TO INITIATE NEUROGENIC TREMORS The body's natural mechanism to release stress, tension & trauma
Release the pattern of holding. Whatever it is, you can let it go. Neurogenic tremors are experienced in mammals. They are an intrinsic physiological reponse resulting from a traumatic event and are the central nervous system's innate way of discharging excessive stressful energy, and functions to calm the body down from an over excited adrenal state. If you have ever been nervous and experienced knocking knees, or shaking after a traumatic event, then you have experienced this type of vibration.
The calm that follows leads into a wonderfully blissful state of meditation. Once you learn how to initiate neurogenic tremors, you will be able to reach a meditative state on your own whenever you want to!
Neurogenic tremors are nature's 'reboot' mechanism, or 're-set button', and a way of letting go of the past using your body! This therapeutic shaking response in humans (much the same as the instinctual shaking in animals), discharges immediate as well as long-held tension and trauma in order to restore the body to balance. This is not a contrived or conscious effort to 'shake out' energy, but instead an organic release that occurs as we learn to let go of control and get out of the way of the body's natural processes.
"When the nervous system identifies threat, vibration or shaking in the body is designed to occur automatically. However, negative social constructs and beliefs around what it means to allow ourselves to shake, tremor, or show vulnerability, have conditioned us out of this innate release mechanism at a very early age".
"These vibrations can release emotions ranging from mild upset to severe anxiety whether it is caused by work stress, excessive worry, conflict in relationships, physical stresses, or traumas from accidents. Additionally, tremoring has been reported to reduce and eliminate pain, increases mobility, and aid healing of recent and past injuries".
